Aquamarina Costa Brava has been recognized with the Businesswoman of the Year 2025 award at the XXI edition of the AEEG Awards, organized by the Association of Entrepreneurs and Businesspeople of Girona (AEEG). The award was presented during the XXXI Gala Dinner held this past Thursday, July 10th, at Finca Mas Batlle, in an event that brought together over 200 business leaders and institutional representatives from across the Girona region.
The recognition was received by our director, Úrsula Ribera, and is shared with our entire team, collaborators, distributors, and clients who have supported us over these 10 years.
The award honors the business trajectory, leadership, and commitment of Aquamarina Costa Brava — a family-owned company based in Ullà, which celebrates its 10th anniversary this year. Founded in 2015 and specialized in the collection, bottling, and commercialization of seawater, Aquamarina has successfully carved out a space in an emerging market and established itself as a benchmark in the sector at a national level.
“Receiving this award is a recognition of the path we’ve walked, but also of the entire team who has believed in this project since day one,” said Ribera in her acceptance speech.
The event was attended by several authorities, including the Minister of Business and Labor, the Hon. Mr. Miguel Sámper; the Deputy Mayor of Girona, Ms. Gemma Geis; and the State Government Delegate in Girona, Mr. Pere Parramon, among others.
The Businesswoman of the Year Award is granted annually to a leading figure in Girona’s business landscape, recognizing innovation, resilience, and the economic and social impact of their project.
This recognition of Úrsula Ribera not only highlights her vision as an entrepreneur, but also the contribution of Aquamarina Costa Brava to the region and its commitment to promoting a sustainable business model rooted in the natural environment.
